Bret Paulson, PA-C

A native of Idaho, Bret Paulson was raised in Coeur d'Alene and is part of the St. Joseph Regional Medical Group. He graduated with dean’s honors from Ricks College, which later became Brigham Young University–Idaho, as well as from Idaho State University. He went on to complete his graduate studies in the physician assistant program at Idaho State University in Pocatello.

Bret has a broad employment history, including six years in family practice in Carson City, Nevada, and 18 months with Tahoe Fracture & Orthopaedics, where he specialized in the spine.

In 1988, Bret received an Outstanding Citizens Award from the mayor of Coeur d'Alene for services rendered in connection with his Eagle Scout Award. He is the oldest of five children and served a two-year mission for his church in St. Louis, Missouri, where he enjoyed working in several large hospitals.

Outside of work, Bret enjoys spending time with his four children. His hobbies include camping, fishing, hunting, and motorcycles.
