Steven Boyea, MD

Dr. Steven Boyea is a native of the northwest with extended family in the Lewis-Clark Valley. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, and completed his orthopedic residency and hand fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Lewiston Orthopedics in 2001, Dr. Boyea was Chief of Hand Surgery Service at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He continues to specialize in hand and upper extremity surgery and has achieved a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. Dr. Boyea is the only hand surgeon in the region with this designation.

Dr. Boyea is currently licensed in Idaho and Washington and is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
