About Tommy Allen Brown Jr.

Tommy Allen Brown Jr., MD, is a general surgeon with advanced training in hepatobiliary surgery and a strong focus on minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques. He provides comprehensive surgical care for a wide range of conditions, including breast, thyroid, colorectal, foregut, liver, pancreatic, melanoma, sarcoma, and hernia surgery.

Dr. Brown completed his general surgery residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, where he developed extensive experience using robotic-assisted approaches to improve precision, reduce recovery time, and support better patient outcomes. He is skilled in robotic surgery for abdominal wall hernias and complex abdominal procedures and incorporates these techniques whenever clinically appropriate.

Dr. Brown earned his medical degree with honors in Global Health from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wheaton College, graduating magna cum laude.

Dr. Brown is actively involved in surgical quality improvement, clinical research, and the adoption of new technologies that enhance patient safety and outcomes. He believes in taking the time to listen, clearly explain treatment options, and work closely with patients to develop individualized care plans that align with their goals.
